Family's are notified only for incidents that result in injury, a change of condition or transport

Notify DON for: unexpected death, elopment, falls with injury or any event that results in a life threatening outcome, any VA reportable event

Notify LALD: Building emergency (fire, flood, power outage) Law enforcement outside of EMSunexpected death, elopement and VA reportable events 

Site nurses will update MD next day of falls they have no portals.
