Family's are notified only for any  incidents with injury or if sent out EMS  if no injury staff will update the next day.  Families are notified of all resident to resident altercations do not use other residents name.  

Notify DON for: unexpected death, elopement, fall with significant injury (fx), Allegations of abuse, resident to resident altercations, significant medication errors, Significant change of condition

Notify LALD: same as DON if DON is not reached
