Family's are notified only for any  incidents with injury  if no injury staff will update the next day   ALWAYS NOTIFY IF RESIDENT IS SENT OUT TO HOSPITAL 

Notify DON for: unexpected death, elopement, med error,   VA reportable events police presence not EMS 

Notify LALD: Building emergency (fire, flood, power outage) Law enforcement outside of EMSunexpected death, elopement and VA reportable events
