NICOLLE MONETTE, RN

CLINICAL TRIAGE MANAGER

Nicolle began her nursing career at a large, well-known transitional care center, where she developed strong hands-on skills while caring for patients with a wide range of medical needs. This high-volume environment helped her build a solid clinical foundation and exposed her to the complexities of transitional care. After gaining extensive experience, she transitioned to a more intimate care setting, working in home care as a primary nurse for critically ill patients. There, she honed essential medical skills and gained invaluable experience in end-of-life care, supporting both patients and their families during some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

Nicolle's leadership abilities later led her to the role of Director of Nursing at a 100+ resident assisted living and memory care community. In this role, she oversaw all clinical operations, providing leadership and support to nurses and direct care staff while ensuring high-quality care for all residents.

Her passion for caring for others began early in life. Every job she held, even in her youth, was rooted in service, from working in daycares to positions in schools supporting children's education. Before entering nursing, Nicolle worked within the school district and especially enjoyed working with children with special needs. It was during her own personal battle with cancer, however, that her path shifted. Inspired by the compassionate and skilled nurses who cared for her during treatment, she made the decision to transition from education to a career in nursing.

Today, Nicolle's background in education blends seamlessly with her clinical experience in her role at Accelerated Care Solutions. As the leader of the triage team, she trains and manages a talented group of nursing professionals, combining her two greatest passions: teaching and nursing. Nicolle is also deeply committed to promoting work-life balance for nurses and is proud to contribute to a healthcare environment that values and supports its nursing community.
