MIKE MCGUIRE

Mike possesses a deep passion for healthcare and health technologies. In his role, he will bring his operations and technology background to help lead and grow ACS's organization, innovation strategies, and market presence.

Prior to Accelerated Care Solutions, Mike served as Executive Vice President; Chief Operations, and Chief Technology Officer of Stratacor Inc., a $1.5 billion holding company comprised of several healthcare for-profit and non-profit companies. Additionally, Mike served as President of Abova Technologies, a health technology company focused on developing Artificial Intelligence Clinical Decision Support Tools.

 

Mike spent several years working in high-level positions. He served as Vice President of Operations and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, where he was responsible for all contact centers and back-office operations, digital portals & tools, and the design of the consumer journey. Prior to BCBS MN he served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Optum Health where he led Case Management, Care Coordination, Disease Management, and Utilization Management. Mike's work was instrumental in helping lead Optum Health's entrance into telehealth, video health, and global recruitment of clinical team members.

 

His board of director experience includes a four-year term with the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota where he also served on the Audit and Risk Committee as well as the Finance and Investment Committee. He is currently serving on OraQ Al an oral health artificial intelligence company as well as the Twine Cities Technology Innovation Advisory Council, and Twin Cities CIO Association Advisory Group.

 

He is an active participant in several professional associations, including the Twin Cities CIO Leadership Association and the NACD National Association of Corporate Directors, where he has achieved Board Fellow designation and received advanced certification in cyber security oversight. Mike was a finalist for the 2020 Twin Cities Technology Leader of the year ORBIE Award and has been selected as the Twin Cities Technology Leader of the year for 2021 in the enterprise category.

LORI MCGUIRE

CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

For over 30 years Lori has been caring for Seniors, in all capacities as a nurse and direct caregiver, as an Executive Director (LALD) of a 300+ Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care building, and as a Corporate Regional Director in a multi-million-dollar management company. In this role, Lori guided the clinical team through acquisitions, opening new buildings, COVID, and Assisted living licensure, with a team of more than 1,000 employees and 10+ buildings. 

Lori's passion for the care and experience of Seniors grew during the COVID pandemic when the need to provide compassionate support extended to the direct care staff, the nurses, and the Executive Directors (LALDs). A massive post covid shortage of workforce in all areas of Senior Care flamed Lori's desire to provide care and support in a more innovative and impactful way to those she was overseeing. These staffing shortages are causing high rates of burnout, mental fatigue, family breakdown, and stress-related illnesses, it was out of these experiences that Accelerated Care Solutions was founded. 

Accelerated Care Solutions helps communities do more with less to improve the experience of their staff, their residents & families, and their vendor partners while often remaining within the confines of their budget. We do this by partnering with Senior Communities supporting their clinical staff with our highly experienced clinical team to offload the more administrative side of the nursing processes. We do this by utilizing technologies to augment workflow and process to provide your site staff the opportunity to do what they do best, CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS, and SUPPORT EACH OTHER AS A TEAM.

ERIC JOKINEN RN, LALD

DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICES

For the past 25 years, Eric has dedicated himself to expanding the breadth and depth of his experience across numerous competencies of senior care nursing. From hands-on care to overseeing teams of nurses to successfully leading training, quality assurance, and compliance, Eric has successfully championed them all. 

As the Director of Health Services for Accelerated Care Solutions, Eric leads all clinical operations across senior communities and home health care service offerings. Additionally, he oversees compliance and quality assurance for the organization. 

Prior to joining Accelerated Care Solutions, Eric served as Director of Health Services at Great Lakes Management, one of Minnesota's premier property management companies overseeing a significant portfolio of senior living communities.

Eric's dedication and passion for the seniors we serve, the team members we lead, and the partners we support make him a great asset to Accelerated Care Solutions and the senior care industry.
